These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Savoy Signings. By booking an appointment, submitting a contact form, or receiving services, the client agrees to the following terms.

1. Service Agreement

Savoy Signings provides mobile notary, remote online notarization (RON), and document‑signing services in accordance with Texas state laws. The notary’s role is limited to verifying identity, witnessing signatures, and completing notarial certificates. The notary does not provide legal advice, draft documents, or interpret legal content.

2. Identification Requirements

All signers must present valid, unexpired, government‑issued photo identification, such as:

  • Texas driver’s license

  • State ID

  • U.S. passport

  • Military ID

Failure to provide valid ID will result in appointment termination and forfeiture of the deposit.

3. Document Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • Documents are complete (no blank required fields)

  • Documents are ready for signature

  • All signers are present

  • Witnesses (if required) are arranged in advance

The notary may refuse service if documents are incomplete, altered, or legally questionable.

4. Pricing Structure

Final pricing includes:

  • $25 flat mobile fee

  • $0.70 per mile round‑trip from ZIP 77449

  • $10 per notarized signature (Texas state fee)

  • Applicable after‑hours, rush, or holiday fees

The price displayed on the booking page (“starting at $10”) reflects the Texas notary fee per signature, not the deposit or total cost.

5. Deposit Requirement

A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. The deposit is applied toward the final balance but does not represent the full cost of service.

Clients acknowledge that:

  • The deposit is non‑refundable

  • Additional fees will apply

  • The appointment is not confirmed until approved by Savoy Signings

6. Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due before the appointment begins. Accepted payment methods include cash, card, Zelle, Cash App, and Apple Pay.

Failure to pay the remaining balance will result in appointment cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No‑Shows

Clients must provide at least 4 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no‑shows result in forfeiture of the deposit.

If the notary has already begun traveling, mileage and travel fees may still be due.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Savoy Signings may refuse or terminate service if:

  • The signer lacks valid ID

  • The signer appears coerced or unwilling

  • The environment is unsafe

  • Documents are incomplete or fraudulent

  • Payment is not completed

  • The client behaves disrespectfully or aggressively

The deposit will not be refunded in these cases.

9. Travel & Location Requirements

Clients must provide an accurate appointment address. Mileage is calculated round‑trip from ZIP 77449. If the notary arrives and the client is not present within 10 minutes, the appointment is considered a no‑show.

10. Remote Online Notarization (RON) Requirements

For RON appointments, clients must have:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A device with camera and microphone

  • Valid ID for identity verification

  • A quiet, private environment

RON recordings are securely stored per Texas SOS requirements.

11. Confidentiality

Savoy Signings maintains strict confidentiality of all documents and personal information. Documents are not shared, stored unnecessarily, or used for any purpose outside the notarization process.

12. Liability Limitation

Savoy Signings is not responsible for:

  • Legal outcomes of notarized documents

  • Incorrect or incomplete documents provided by the client

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or emergencies

  • Errors resulting from client‑provided information

The notary’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

13. Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or receiving services, the client acknowledges and agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
